Twilight Leagues

These leagues tee off approximately 5:30 PM – 6:20 PM Monday through Thursday

Chestnut Hill Golf Course offers a number of different Twilight Leagues that are open to Buffalo and Western New York public golfers each week looking to join a league as an individual, two-some, three-some, foursome or multiple foursomes.


These leagues are extremely popular and fill very quickly.


Twilight Leagues are a great way to meet new people, enjoy some great golf and get in on some friendly competition. Twilight Leagues begin Monday, May 19 – Thursday, May 22 and are 13 weeks in length.


All Chestnut Hill Prime-Time Leagues are open to men and women. Use of a handicap helps level the playing field. Choose one based on your desired day/time.  These leagues are perfect for those who can not make it from Buffalo in time for a Prime Time League.

  • Details

    • Alternate between the front and back 9 each week for variety and challenge.
    • The format is individual stroke play meaning everyone plays their own ball from tee to green and a Stableford Point System is used to score the round on a net or handicapped basis. Chestnut Hill provides a handicap (free of charge) to even the playing field.
    • League players may continue to play golf with cart after their league 9-hole round until sundown at no additional charge. 
    • Optional closest to the pin contests and a weekly skins game are available. 
    • League players arriving early may play 9 holes prior to tee-off for just $10 (includes cart).
    • League coupons can also be used any time on weekdays or weekends for its face value of $22.00 so you can make up any missed rounds.”
    • If you are unable to use the League Coupons prior to the ending of the League season, the coupons may be used any time until the season ends for its face value.  That way, you never lose out

  • Mid-Season BBQ

    All league players are invited to this event held during the week of July 14 – 17.  The Mid-Season BBQ is FREE for every player prior to tee-off. 

  • Awards Ceremony

    An Award Ceremony is held for each Prime Time League the week of August 28-31. 


    These events are held this week regardless of whether the league is finished or has makeups.  This allows you to make plans to attend that you can count on.  If your league is not finished, the Ceremony will still be held, and standings and prizes will be announced later once the 13 rounds are completed.

    • Each Twilight League Coupon Booklet contains 13 rounds of golf with a golf cart (double occupancy).
    • All Coupons in the booklet are transferable and may be given to another person to play should you be unable to play a certain week.
    • Every Coupon comes "LOADED" with a complimentary Draft Beer or Fountain Pop to be used before or after the round. A special not found at other Buffalo courses.
    • League coupons can also be used any time on a weekday or weekend after 1:30 for its face value of $23.00 so you can make up any missed rounds.

League Booklets are good for the entire 2025 season. This way you never lose out because of poor weather, work, or family commitments. They are always worth their face value of $22.00.

Pay As You Go

Chestnut Hill is one of the FEW remaining courses in Buffalo and Western New York that continues to offer a Pay as You Go option where individuals simply pay for their round each week in the Pro Shop.
