Chesnut Hill Country Club is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant to  assist in the daily golf course operations.

Summary of Job Duties:

• Handle transactions for golf sales, merchandise, food and beverage, etc.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
• Communicate with the shift’s starter, ranger, cart and snack bar staff.
• Communicate regularly with customers to understand and meet their needs.
• Answer phone calls for tee time reservations and other customer questions in a professional manner.
• Manage the daily tee sheet effectively.
• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Provide solutions for customers’ needs, questions and concerns.
• Keep direct supervisor aware of any issues/concerns as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in retail or service position preferred.
• Must be 21-years or older to handle alcohol sales.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of golf preferred.
• Management skills, including problem solving, leadership and decision making.
• Professional and enthusiastic attitude.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and related software.
• Ability to complete job duties with independence and initiative.

• Park, gas, and clean carts in an efficient and safe manner
• Have clean carts ready and in line to head out on the course
• Clean around the Clubhouse, Bathrooms & Pro Shop
• Greet guests and assist them in anything that they might need
• Pick up Range Baskets
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of the game of golf is preferred but not required
• Must be a responsible and trustworthy person of character
• Willing to work weekends and varying 8-hour shifts

Chesnut Hill Country Club is looking for a Maintenance Ground Crew to  assist in the daily golf course operations.

No experience is required. Prior golf course maintenance or landscape experience is helpful, but we will train the right individual. If you enjoy working outdoors in a safe environment, then this is the perfect job for you!

• Preparing the golf course for daily play
• Mowing greens, tees, rough and other areas
• Golf course construction and renovation
